COMPUTER-AIDED DESIGN

Pre-Engineering in the Construction Trades is designed to provide students with a foundation with the basic skills needed for success in modern engineering, design, and renewable technologies careers.  Students will use AutoCAD (Automated Computer-Aided Design) in the creation of drawings and 3D geometry in both standard and metric measurements.  Instruction will be given through a combination of lecture, demonstrations, and hands-on projects and experiments.

REAL WORLD EXPERIENCES

Randolph students attend field trips to commercial construction sites within the greater Detroit area along with construction conferences and educational events. During the second and third years, Randolph connects students to jobs, apprenticeships, or further education and training.
